St. Peters

The city of St Peters is located in St Charles County, Missouri. Interstate 70 passes through the city, providing a major transportation link. St Peters is home to the award winning recreation and fitness complex, St Peters Rec-Plex which is a 236,000 sq ft family recreation and athletic training complex. The 2004 Olympic Diving Trails were hosted there and it is recognized as one of the USA's premier diving facilities. The Spencer Road Branch library, the largest and busiest within the St. Charles City-County Library District, is in St Peters. St Peters has the most extensive park system in St Charles county. The city has over 1,000 acres of parks and trails. Outdoor amenities available to park users include: recreation trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters and pavilions, athletic fields, fishing ponds and landscape areas. St Peters has the county's second busiest hospital, Barnes-Jewish St Peters Hospital and it is a satellite location of the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center.
